Our first event of 2010 was the Hilton Warwick Staff Christmas Party 2009.  We do a lot of work at the Hilton during the Christmas season and get treated really well by the staff, so we are always pleased to attend their own party to take photos during the evening.  We look forward to working with the staff of the Hilton Warwick through 2010.  Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all.

We have had another very busy and enjoyable Christmas party season for 2009.  We have taken hundreds of photos of party goers throughout their party with our portable studio setup and printed onsite for people to take their photos home with them.  We have seen many sites and heard many sounds (mostly cheesey 70’s disco songs – see below) and met some great people through the season.  We hope you all have a fantastic Christmas for 2009 and a great new year.

On 28th november 2009 Rise Dance Acadamy held their 2009 awards and Event-Pics attended again to document the night.  We always have great fun at these awards as it is full of young children having great fun expressing themselves through dance and they always love to have their photo taken after the awards presentation.  Look forward to seeing you again soon.

On 21st November 2009 Event-Pics attended the Traditional College of Acupuncture Awards Ceremony at the Hilton Warwick.  As you can imagine we know nothing about acupuncture but the graduates certainly do now and have worked very hard to gain their qualifications.  It sounded like they had some fun doing so at the same time !  Congratulations to all.

Etone College in Nuneaton  held their 2009 Year 11 Awards Night on Thursday 19th November at the college and Event-Pics were on hand to document the ceremony and photograph the award winners after the event. 

Event-Pics attended the year 11 prom earlier on in the year so we were really pleased to meet everyone again as they celebrated their exam successes.  It was a great night as everyone looked back at their efforts and forward to their future.  Congratulations to everyone.

We were back at our second home on Saturday 31st October when Rosewood Lodge held a black tie event at the Hilton Warwick.  We setup our standard portable studio in the adjoining room and stayed throughout the evening to take formal and informal photos of the guests.  Everyone had a great time and the photos were well received.

Event-Pics recently attended the Black and White Ball at The Vale Golf Club, Pershore for the celebration of Sian and Richard’s 5th wedding anniversary with friends and family.  The Vale is a fantastic venue with ideal grounds for wedding photographs.  We were spoilt with lovely weather throughout the evening and managed to get some great family group pictures within the grounds before the main ball started.  We had a room in the venue to setup our portable studio and onsite printing and proved popular throughout the night as friends and family visited us to have portraits taken.

On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August Event-Pics attended the Stratford Armouries ’Military Vehicle show and 1940s dance’ summer event at Stratford-Upon-Avon. With over 40 ex military vehicles to get close up to and stalls, vintage clothes and confectionery to sample, it proved a great event for everyone. And with a 1940s themed dance in the evening including the 40s reveu “something special Presents” and DJ Swing Patrol to dance to, Event-Pics captured some amazing photos from the event.

Event-Pics were at the Phyllis Court Club at Henley-On-Thames on Saturday 18th July for the ‘Trevor Collins Memorial Ball’.  We met Trevor’s daughter at a Christmas party we attended last December and we were recommended by her for this event to help raise funds for a new charity Trevor’s wife Brenda is setting up in memory of  Trevor.  Everyone had a great evening with fantastic food, a live band, an auction and our temporary photographic studio raising much needed money throughout the night.  And Henley-On-Thames is a wonderful setting for a memorial ball.
